Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026. Hivemind ("Hivemind," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and provides clipping and user-generated content (UGC) marketing services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By visiting this site or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

Hivemind is based in Ontario, Canada. For any question, request, or complaint about this policy or your personal information, contact us at hivemindclipping@gmail.com or +1 (647) 391-9166. We act as the privacy officer responsible for compliance with this policy and applicable law.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information we collect directly from you (clients, prospective clients, and clippers) and, where relevant, personal information submitted by clients about people who appear in or create source content. It does not cover the practices of third-party platforms we link to or rely on, including Whop, Calendly, and any social media platform where clips are posted — each of those services has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

3. Information we collect

This website itself does not use cookies, run analytics, or run advertising trackers, and it has no sign-up form of its own. We collect only the personal information described below, and only for the purposes set out in this policy — see Section 13 for more on cookies and the one third-party resource this site loads. We collect personal information only through the following channels:

4. How we use personal information

We use personal information only for purposes we identify at or before the time of collection, including to:

We do not use personal information for any purpose incompatible with the one it was collected for without obtaining your consent, unless permitted or required by law.

5. Legal basis and consent

Where Canadian privacy law (the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, "PIPEDA") applies, we collect, use, and disclose personal information only with knowledge and, where required, consent, except where otherwise permitted or required by law. For visitors outside Canada, we process personal information on the basis of your consent, the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you (such as a campaign agreement), or our legitimate business interests, such as operating and improving our services.

6. Disclosure of information

We do not sell personal information. We disclose personal information only in the following circumstances:

7. International visitors and cross-border transfer

Hivemind is based in Ontario, Canada, and personal information we collect may be stored or processed in Canada or in other countries where our service providers (such as Whop or Calendly) operate, including the United States. By using this site or our services, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data protection laws may differ from those of your home jurisdiction.

8. Children's privacy

This site and our services are directed at businesses, creators, and adults and are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or under 16 where a higher threshold applies in your jurisdiction) without verifiable parental or guardian consent. Anyone who wishes to work with us as a clipper must meet the minimum age requirement set out in our Terms of Service, or have a parent or guardian agree on their behalf where permitted. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us personal information may contact us at hivemindclipping@gmail.com to request deletion.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Campaign records and payment history may be retained longer where required for tax or legal compliance. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

10. Security safeguards

We use physical, organizational, and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification. This website is a static page with no database, login system, or stored user input, which limits the data it can expose. Payment processing is handled entirely by Whop, which maintains its own security standards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights and choices

Subject to limited exceptions permitted by law, you may:

We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, outside Canada, to your local data protection authority.

12. Third-party links

This site links to third-party services including Whop and Calendly, and campaign clips may be posted to platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.

13. Cookies and do-not-track signals

This website does not set or read any cookies, browser storage, or similar tracking technologies, and it does not run analytics or advertising pixels. We do not need your consent to use cookies because we do not use any, and there is no cookie banner on this site for that reason. The one external resource this page loads is the Bricolage Grotesque and DM Sans typefaces from Google Fonts, served from Google's font servers so the site displays consistently; loading a webfont this way exposes your IP address and basic browser information to Google as the operator of that server, but it does not set a cookie through this site and we do not use it to track you. If we ever add analytics, advertising technology, or any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the site to function, we will update this policy first and add a consent banner before any such technology runs. Because this site does not track visitors, there is nothing for a browser "do not track" signal to affect here. Third-party services we link to, such as Whop and Calendly, may use their own cookies and respond to do-not-track signals under their own policies — see Section 12.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be reflected by posting the updated policy here.

15. Contact and accountability

Hivemind is accountable for personal information under its control. Questions, requests, or complaints about this policy should be directed to hivemindclipping@gmail.com or +1 (647) 391-9166.
